5 Ways For Men To Connect To Their Divine Feminine Energy

Spring, to me, reflects the Divine Feminine energy, and after writing a couple of posts about it, I’ve been asked by both men and women how men can get access to that beautiful energy too.

So to be clear, embracing the divine feminine is not just limited to women; men can also connect with and embrace the qualities of the divine feminine within themselves.
So guys, how do you acquire it?

Here are a few ways:

1. Find Balance In Your Relationships:

In your personal relationships, strive for equality and mutual respect. Avoid falling into traditional gender roles or power dynamics and instead seek to create partnerships based on shared values, goals, and interests.

2. Cultivate Creativity:

The divine feminine is also associated with creativity. Men can tap into this quality by exploring their own creative expressions, whether through art, music, writing, or other forms of self-expression.
In other words, embrace your inner Beyonce: Channel your inner diva and unleash your inner Sasha Fierce. Practice your dance moves, belt out your favorite tunes, and feel the power of feminine energy.

3. Connect With Nature:

Nature is often seen as a manifestation of the divine feminine, and spending time in nature can help men connect with this energy. Men can engage in practices such as hiking, camping, or gardening to cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.

4. Connect To Your Emotions:

Men who suppress their feminine energy may feel disconnected from their emotions and intuition and struggle to express vulnerability or empathy. In addition, they may feel pressure to conform to traditional gender roles and stereotypes and feel uncomfortable expressing aspects of themselves that are deemed "feminine.

The time to develop emotional intelligence is NOW.

So, get in touch with your emotions. It's okay to cry during a sad movie, feel moved by a beautiful sunset, or get misty-eyed when you see a cute puppy.
Embrace your sensitive side and let those tears flow!
It’s okay to feel! After all, you are human :)

5. Practice Meditation & Mindfulness:

Meditation and mindfulness practices can help men (and women)  develop greater self-awareness, compassion, and intuition, all qualities associated with the divine feminine. You can explore different types of meditation or mindfulness practices, such as breathwork or yoga, to help you connect with the feminine energy (Shakti) within yourself.
And if you want to learn more about meditation, start with my 20 min. Yoga Nidra classes or my monthly workshops.

Let's sum it up, embracing the divine feminine is about cultivating qualities that are often associated with femininity, such as compassion, intuition, and creativity, regardless of gender identity.
By doing so, men can develop a deeper connection with themselves, others, and the world around them.

Balancing divine masculine and divine feminine energy is important for both men and women, as it can help us cultivate a more harmonious and integrated sense of self.

It is not about denying one aspect of yourself in favor of the other. It's about embracing the full spectrum of who you are and bringing your unique gifts and qualities to the world. So have fun exploring both your masculine and feminine sides, and embrace the wholeness that comes with integrating both aspects of yourself.

5 Ways To Connect To The Divine Feminine

The concept of the divine feminine varies depending on cultural, spiritual, and religious contexts. Still, generally, it refers to a set of qualities or characteristics that are associated with femininity and are considered divine or sacred. For example, the divine feminine is often associated with motherhood, nurturing, intuition, creativity, wisdom, compassion, and grace.

In many spiritual traditions, the divine feminine is seen as a counterpart to the divine masculine, representing the complementary and interconnected aspects of the universe. The divine feminine is often depicted in goddess figures or archetypes, such as Isis, Kali, Gaia, or Mary.

The concept of the divine feminine has gained renewed interest in recent years, particularly in the context of spiritual and personal growth movements. In addition, some people use the idea of the divine feminine as a way to connect with their inner selves, cultivate feminine qualities, and balance their energy.

Connecting to the divine feminine within ourselves can involve a variety of practices and approaches, depending on one's personal beliefs and spiritual path. However, here are a few suggestions for connecting to the divine feminine within:

Cultivate Self-Awareness And Self-Love:

The first step in connecting to the divine feminine is to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with yourself. This can involve practices such as meditation, journaling, or therapy, which can help you understand your own needs, emotions, and intuition.

Embrace Feminine Qualities:

The divine feminine is often associated with qualities such as nurturing, compassion, intuition, and creativity. To connect with these qualities, you might explore activities that allow you to express your creativity, connect with nature, or care for others.

Explore Goddess Archetypes

Many spiritual traditions feature goddess figures or archetypes that embody different aspects of the divine feminine. Learning about these figures and their stories can provide inspiration and guidance for connecting with the divine feminine within.

Connect With Other Women:

The divine feminine is often associated with the power of women's circles and the collective energy of women. Joining a women's group, attending a retreat, or simply spending time with other women who share your interests can help you tap into this energy.

Practice Gratitude and Reverence:

Finally, connecting to the divine feminine can involve developing a sense of reverence for the sacredness of life and the earth. Practicing gratitude, spending time in nature, or developing a daily ritual or meditation practice can help you connect to this sense of awe and wonder.

There are so many more ways to explore your feminine energy.

Connecting to the divine feminine within yourself can involve cultivating self-awareness, exploring your creativity, connecting with nature, practicing self-care, and listening to your intuition.
By doing so, you can tap into the nurturing, compassionate, and intuitive energy of the divine feminine within yourself and promote greater balance and well-being in your life.

What are your go-to to explore and tap into your inner Goddess?

The Power Of Words

The Power Of Words

Do you pay attention to your words?

We’ve entered the third week of The Dream Whispering Experience.
It has been truly magical, eye-opening, and transformative so far; at least, that’s what I’ve been told. Haha.

Yesterday’s main topic was: The Power Of Words.
The journey we went on was so rich I decided to share a bit of the experience with all of you as it may benefit you.

Are you familiar with the book by Don Miguel Ruiz:
The Four Agreements?

The first agreement is:

“Be Impeccable with your Word.”

Being impeccable with your word means speaking with integrity and being mindful of the words you choose to use.
It means avoiding negative or harmful speech and being truthful in the way you communicate.
Additionally, it involves being responsible for the effects of your words, taking ownership of what you say, making an effort to communicate clearly, and following through on your promises and commitments to others as well as yourself.
The idea is to use language in a respectful, kind, and supportive way to oneself and others, avoiding causing harm or spreading negativity.

😮‍💨 Okay, let’s take a breath. That’s a lot of WORDS! 😳

“This is great, Cathy, but how do I become impeccable with my word?”

So glad you asked! Here are a few things you can try:

Five ways to work on being impeccable with your word:

1 - Practice mindfulness:
Take a moment to reflect on the words you choose to use, considering their impact before speaking. Words carry energy; use high-energy ranked ones.

2 - Listen actively:
Pay attention when others speak, and make an effort to understand the intent behind their words. If you disagree, wait until they are done talking before forming a response. It is a practice, especially during “heated” conversations!

3 - Seek to understand:
Ask questions and make an effort to understand the perspectives of others, avoiding jumping to conclusions or assumptions.

4 - Apologize when necessary:
If you realize that you have used your words in a harmful or damaging way, take responsibility and apologize.

5 - Surround yourself with positive role models:
Seek out relationships with people who communicate positively and respectfully. Surround yourself with people who feed your soul as much as possible and who you want to be like.

So, being impeccable with your word is an essential aspect of effective communication and also personal growth.

It may feel uncomfortable at times. So remember to breathe deeply when discomfort shows up.
As best as you can, be mindful of the words you choose, speak truthfully, and avoid negative speech.
Remember to take responsibility for your words, communicate clearly, and follow through on your commitments.

Your words have power, they can help you improve your relationships, reduce unnecessary suffering, and positively impact yourself and others. I invite you to be impeccable with them!

And when you feel a little overwhelmed, I am here for you!

10 things you can do to cultivate self-love

The Month Of Love Is Upon Us!

February is often considered the month of Love because of Valentine's Day, a holiday dedicated to celebrating Love and affection between intimate partners, friends, and family members.

People often exchange gifts, cards, and sweets to show their Love and appreciation for one another. As a result, the holiday has become a symbol of Love and romance and is celebrated worldwide.

However, it is crucial to remember that self-love is just as important as Love for others and should be celebrated throughout the year, not just in February.
And while it is important to show Love and appreciation for others, it is equally important to show Love and kindness towards oneself. It’s essential to give yourself the Love you wish to receive.

In other words, Love starts with us.

So, what Is Self-Love?

Self-love is the practice of treating yourself with care, respect, and kindness.
It involves recognizing and appreciating your own worth and accepting your imperfections.
It is a positive and nurturing attitude towards yourself, which leads to increased self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being.

Self-love is essential for a healthy and fulfilling life, and it involves taking time for self-care, setting boundaries, and being honest with yourself about your needs and wants. By practicing self-love, you can build a strong foundation for healthy relationships and a fulfilling life.

This can include taking time for self-care, practicing self-compassion, and engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment. Whether through exercise, spending time in nature, or trying a new hobby, taking care of yourself can help you improve overall well-being and increase feelings of self-love. So, this February, say yes to celebrating Love for yourself as well as others.

Ten things you can do to cultivate Self Love:

  1. Practice self-care activities like exercise, good nutrition, and enough sleep.

  2. Surround yourself with positive people and minimize toxic relationships.

  3. Set healthy boundaries and learn to say "no" when necessary.

  4. Practice gratitude and focus on the good things in your life.

  5. Engage in hobbies and activities that bring you joy and fulfillment.

  6. Practice self-compassion and treat yourself with kindness and understanding.

  7. Forgive yourself for past mistakes and let go of negative self-talk.

  8. Surround yourself with positive affirmations and things that make you happy.

  9. Seek professional help if needed, such as therapy or counseling.

  10. Make time for self-reflection and personal growth.

Three Reasons Why New Year's Resolutions Fail

Three Reasons Why New Year's Resolutions Fail

Tell me, do you have a New Year’s resolution for 2023?

Have you made New Year’s resolutions in the past and not kept them?

New Year's resolutions are often seen as a way for people to set goals and make positive changes in their lives. However, if you have ever set such a goal for yourself, you might have found that your resolutions did not work, and perhaps you have struggled to keep them.

There are several reasons why this may be the case.

• First •

You might have set unrealistic goals for yourself, which can be difficult or impossible to achieve. This can lead to disappointment and frustration and make it harder for you to stay motivated and committed to your resolutions.

• Second •

You might not have had a clear plan or strategy for achieving your goals, which can make it difficult for you to stay on track. Without a plan, it can be easy to get sidetracked or distracted and lose sight of what you are trying to accomplish.

• Third •

You may not have the support and encouragement you need to stick to your resolutions. This can be especially true if your friends and family do not share the same goals or values or if you do not have a strong network of people who can help you stay motivated and accountable.

Overall, many challenges and obstacles can make it difficult for you to stick to your New Year's resolutions. To increase your chances of success, it is important to set realistic goals, develop a clear plan, and seek out support and encouragement from others.

So, this year why don’t you try something new?

Every January 1st, I lead a Yoga Nidra workshop:

  • to relax & let go of the stress your body and mind have accumulated over the Holidays,

  • to release the previous year and everything you’ve been through,

  • and to manifest what your heart truly desires in the upcoming year (without your ego telling you what to do or wish for).

In Yoga Nidra, we set an intention instead of a resolution. This meditation helps keep the ego at bay and allows you to open up to your most authentic desires.

It’s the perfect way to start the new year!

You will feel refreshed and ready for 2023!

+ I am also adding a Vision Board-making workshop after the meditation this year.

It’s going to be EPIC!

So click the invitation button above to get all the information and join us for a fun, relaxing, empowering workshop and the best way to start the new year!

Wishing you & yours a Happy Holiday Season!

With Love from Santa Monica,

Cathy D
