Why is it called
a
Pink Moon?
The name was given to the moon by the native Americans. It is named after a pink flower (creeping phlox) blossoming in the Spring.
It brightens up the landscape around the full moon with different shades of pinks.
The pink moon is a powerful symbol of a changing season in our lives.
It is the first full moon at the start of the astrological new year and reminds us that it is the perfect time for new beginnings as new life begins to bloom. It’s a perfect time for new years resolutions and to reaffirm our sankalpa or resolve.
April's full pink moon will be in Libra which will help us balance the fiery, adventurous Aries energy.
It offers us the ability to make the adjustments we need in our lives and invites us to come together to find balance and rest deeply in Libra’s full moon’s vibes.

What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation done in savasana (corpse pose) known to relax your body & mind.
This workshop will connect you to your deeper self. We will hold a Satsang sharing our experiences after the meditation, but you're always welcome to listen to all the different recollections, stories, and feelings this beautiful practice brings.
Known to release stress, anxiety & insomnia, among other benefits, Yoga Nidra will transport you to another dimension while you rest your body & mind deeply. We will release, rebalance, and realign all parts of ourselves. So let your whole self experience total bliss by being soothed into stillness by the magic of guided meditation.

A big pillow or a bolster to place under your knees
